For many of us, it's no surprise to often have people in our lives offer words of wisdom when it comes to health and fitness. Many times those words come from coaches, parents, or good friends genuinely trying to help.
Unfortunately, that advice can sometimes be incorrect, or outdated as quickly as it is passed along. Everyday there are new things being recommended as we learn more about the human body and how it adapts under certain circumstances. Due to the ever changing fitness industry, I try to spend my time reading new articles to keep myself up to date.
I came across an article just the other day that was titled "The Worst Fitness Advice". It was literally an article that talked about common misconceptions that are being passed on from person to person. My favorite part of the article was when he talked about people thinking that as long as they work out hard they can eat whatever junk they wanted to. Nutrition is so important when it comes to reaching our goals and its important that people understand that and educate themselves. The rest of the article also contained some great information so feel free to check it out and let me know what you think of it!
